Integrative Physical Therapy was established by Pamela Johnson to incorporate the Western view of the body with the Eastern view of healing. After practicing physical therapy for more than 25 years, Pamela decided to open her own clinic where she could provide quality physical therapy in a one-on-one setting.
Pamela’s interest in science lead her to complete a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Wake Forest University. After graduating, she decided she wanted to combine her knowledge in science with the art of working with people. She obtained a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Duke University. Since that time, Pamela has worked primarily with the outpatient physical therapy population, focusing on manual therapy. Pamela has pursued continuing education in a myriad of techniques, but one technique she has found invaluable is zero balancing. She became a certified zero balancing practitioner in 2006 and joined the Zero Balancing Faculty in 2012. Pamela’s practice has been transformed by integrating energy and structure through zero balancing.
